That is one heckuva slurp face, am I right?
When Luke’s mama and I were talking about his upcoming one year session and brainstorming, she mentioned his love for spaghetti and I instantly knew we needed to forgo cake and head straight to spaghetti & meatballs.
I am a big fan to going with a babe’s favorite food over cake for these one year smash sessions because you have a better idea of how they will react when you place the food in front of them. Some babes are all about that cake life (I mean, I know I would be), but others aren’t sure what to think since it is their first experience with the cake and frosting. Top it off with being in a not as familiar environment (my studio) and it can be a bit overwhelming for a babe.
I’m so glad Lucas’ mom was on board and got to making that spaghetti, meat balls and sauce. I had a lot of fun designing the Italian themed set for the spaghetti smash. The barnwood wall and espresso wood floors in my studio helped give the vibes I wanted.
Okay, enough words, more photos of Lucas diggin’ into that spaghetti!
