This little sweetheart was a dream during his very first photo shoot and we got through so many sets and poses! My favorite was Brayden in ACUs with his name on the hat. I think it was his dad’s favorite, too!
We had a snowy, beautiful winter evening for Dave & Allison's engagement session this month! How sweet are these two!?
We started off in the barn on the studio property because the sun was at that perfect spot in the sky to get gorgeous light leaks through the old barn wood. These two were troopers climbing up into the hay mow to get those shots!
I think my absolute favorite shot of these two are when I had them stare into each other's eyes (sounds so cheesy, right?! it makes for the sweetest photos, I promise!) while laying on the blanket. I stood over them to get the shot and tried not to get too much snow on them in the process ha!
Here are some highlights from their rustic winter engagement session here at Terry Farms...
Baby Lucas' rustic Christmas newborn session was a lot of fun to plan. I love the twinkle lights and his little Santa hat!
Luke pretty much rocked his first photo session and slept a majority of the time. We got through quite a few set ups. Mom and Dad do a summer fruit and veggie CSA, so it was only fitting to get out my veggies swaddle and do a little veggie set for him!
Proud big brother Josh even decided to take some photos with his new baby brother and was willing to give him kisses for me to capture! How darling is that?!
Welcome little Luke! You are one sweet little man!
I'll be honest -- the real star of this engagement session wasn't the newly engaged couple; it was Yophie. That pup stole the show and is one photogenic doggie! And obviously super cute!
It was fun to incorporate Yophie because these two obviously love their pup very much! We had a great time down by the river here on the farm taking their engagement photos. And I was thrilled to try out my new-to-me quilt I found! I love the colors. It makes for the perfect winter prop!
Congrats to Kristen and Chris! I'm so happy for you both and thrilled to be capturing your wedding day as well!
